Dr Natalie Twine is a postdoctoral fellow in the CSIRO transformational bioinformatics team and a visiting fellow at Macquarie University. Her research focuses on using genomic and 'big data' technologies for translational and clinical impact. Dr Twine works collaboratively on a number of international and national projects, including the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Project MinE consortium. Dr Twine has 21 peer-reviewed publications and h-index of 12. She obtained her PhD in Bioinformatics from University of New South Wales and has previously worked at UNSW, Kings College London and University College London.
